Our approach, in many ways, is similar to that of a college environment; only starting much earlier, with smaller class sizes and the added value of real vocational experiences in a broad range of academic and / or skill-based environments. For example, many of our pupils excel in practical working and thrive in vocational-based learning with the focus of gaining employment or apprenticeships, whereas other pupils find academic work more appealing and focus on a career path via further education or training. MPS Training aims to focus on the specific needs and aspirations of each individual pupil while helping them achieve a realistic and sustainable transition into an adult world.
Professional teaching and instruction is delivered in safe, modern and well-equipped environments where young people can access more assistance when required and establish far more positive relationships with the staff team. To this end, MPS Training often acts out-with the realms of providing a mere education for the young people, but also acts as an influential and pivotal element in a young person’s overall education and care plan.
While the curriculum is specialised it is tailored to meet the specific needs of the pupils and offers an appealing and engaging platform giving our pupils a strong foundation for a successful transition into the world of work or further education.
